Police Seeking Assistance In Locating Suspects In Southeast Armed Carjacking

WASHINGTON, DC.- The D.C. Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating two suspects wanted in connection with Thursday’s Southeast, D.C. armed carjacking.
According to D.C. Metropolitan Police Chief Pamela A. Smith, on Thursday, January 17, 2025, shortly around 7:00 p.m., Southeast District Police Officers responded to a report of a carjacking on the 2700 Block of Sheridan Road in Southeast, D.C.
Upon arrival, Police Officers were informed by the victim that while standing by their vehicle, two suspects approached the victim, pulled out a handgun, and demanded the victim’s motor vehicle. The victim complied with the demands. The suspects then fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle. The victim’s vehicle was later recovered.
The suspects were captured by nearby surveillance cameras, as seen in the above photo.
