ATLANTIC CITY, NJ.- On Friday, January 17, 2025, Jahlil Boston, 35, of Egg Harbor City, New Jersey, appeared in Atlantic County Superior Court and pleaded guilty to first-degree Aggravated Manslaughter in connection with the March 2023 shooting death of a 34-year-old man on the Atlantic City Boardwalk.

According to Atlantic County Prosecutor William E. Reynolds, in return for the guilty plea, the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office will recommend that Boston be sentenced to 28 years in New Jersey State Prison, subject to the No Early Release Act, which will require Boston to serve 85% of his custodial term before becoming eligible for parole.      The guilty plea stems from an incident that began on March 18, 2023, when members of the Atlantic City Police Department responded to a report of a shooting on the 1900 Block of the Atlantic City Boardwalk.
