When Police Officers woke him, Buckley grabbed the handgun and put his truck in gear before Police Officers successfully disarmed Buckley without anyone getting hurt. During questioning, Buckley admitted to Police Officers that he had just smoked methamphetamine, which Police Officers found in his truck. As part of his plea, Buckley admitted to possessing another 18 firearms, some of which were reported stolen.
