WILLIAMSPORT, PA.- On Thursday, January 23, 2025, a Federal Grand Jury for the Middle District of Pennsylvania returned an indictment against Kyle Grey, 35, of Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, charging him with four counts of Production of Child Pornography.

According to Acting U.S. Attorney John C. Gurganus and charging information unsealed in the indictment, it is alleged that Grey produced child pornography on three occasions on or about October 9, 2024, and once again on October 29, 2024.

Grey Faces Decades In Prison If Convicted

If convicted of the charges, Grey faces a mandatory minimum of 15 years and up to 30 years in federal prison, a term of up to a lifetime of supervised release, a fine, and restitution payable to his identified victims on each count. At sentencing, a U.S. District Court Judge will determine the term of imprisonment based on the seriousness of the offenses and Grey’s prior criminal history, if any.

U.S. Attorney Gurganus commended the investigative work of the Pennsylvania State Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, which led to Grey’s indictment on Thursday.

The case and indictment were brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched in May 2006 by the U.S. Department of Justice to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse.

“The rules of the federal court require us to include a statement that states: The charges outlined in this publication are merely accusations, and the defendant and or defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond reasonable doubt.”
