Little Ferry Will Reman Detained In Kidnapping & Sexual Assault Of A Child

WAYNE, NJ.- A 23-year-old Little Ferry, New Jersey man will remain detained in the Bergen County Jail, pending trial for allegedly kidnapping and sexually assaulting a teen girl earlier this month at the Willowbrook Mall in Wayne, New Jersey.
According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, Denys Ludisaca, 23, of Little Ferry, was taken into custody and charged on Thursday, January 16, 2025, following an investigation by Detectives of the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit. Detectives have charged Ludisaca with one count of first-degree Kidnapping; two counts of second-degree Sexual Assault; and one count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
After being processed on the charges, Ludisaca was remanded to the Bergen County Jail. On Monday, January 29, 2025, Ludisaca appeared for a detention hearing in Passaic County Superior Court in Paterson, New Jersey, and was ordered by Superior Court Judge Joseph A. Portelli to remain detained pending trial.
Charges Stem From An Investigation
The charges stem from an investigation that began on Saturday, January 11, 2025, when shortly before 11:00 p.m., members of the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office received a report that a girl between the ages of 13 and 15 had been sexually assaulted in a secluded area in the Willowbrook Mall, located in Wayne, New Jersey.
During the ensuing investigation by Detectives of the Passaic County Special Victims Unit, Ludisaca was identified as the perpetrator. Following the investigation, on January 16, 2025, Ludisaca was taken into custody at the Willowbrook Mall by Detectives of the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office and the Wayne Police Department.
Ludisaca Faces Life In Prison If Convicted
If convicted at trial on the charges, Ludisaca faces a mandatory minimum of 25 years and up to life in New Jersey State Prison. Upon release from Prison, Ludisaca will be subject to parole supervision for life and will be required to register as a sex offender under Megan’s Law requirements.
