Middlesex Woman Reported Missing Found Dead In Borough Park

MIDDLESEX, NJ.- A Middlesex Borough, New Jersey, mother of two who was reported missing Friday afternoon after being seen walking from her home earlier in the day was tragically found dead Saturday afternoon in Haverstick Park in Middlesex Borough.

     According to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone, on Friday, February 7, 2025, shortly before 3:30 p.m., the Middlesex Borough Police Department received a report of a missing woman, Jennifer Panek, 38, of Middlesex, New Jersey. Throughout the afternoon and evening on Friday, Middlesex County authorities searched the surrounding areas but were unable to locate her.

Ms. Panek Tragically Found Deceased

     On Saturday, February 8, 2025, shortly before 2:30 p.m., a concerned citizen, while walking in Haverstick Park in Middlesex Borough, discovered suspicious items and quickly alerted the Police. Upon arrival, Police Officers found the lifeless body of Ms. Panek, where she was pronounced deceased.

     The cause and manner of death are pending the findings of the Middlesex County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office.
