According to U.S. Attorney Erek L.      If convicted at trial and when sentenced, a U.S. District Court Judge will determine the actual term of imprisonment based on the seriousness of the offenses and Darien’s prior criminal history, if any.

U.S. Attorney Barron commended the investigative work of the Baltimore Federal Bureau of Investigation Field Office and the Baltimore County Police Department for the investigation leading to the indictment of Darien.

“The rules of the federal court require us to include a statement that states: The charges outlined in this publication are merely accusations, and the defendant and or defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond reasonable doubt.”
