Hamas Terrorists Release 3 More Hostages Today

GAZA- Three Israeli hostages and hundreds of Palestinian detainees were freed after a dispute nearly ended the fragile Gaza ceasefire deal.

Today, Hamas continued with the provisions of the ceasefire deal with Israel, releasing three more hostages. The hostages have been held by Hamas in Gaza since October 7th, 2023.

The hostages appeared to be in good condition, a marked difference from the others, who were released last week. The names of the three hostages are American-Israeli Sagui Dekel-Chen, Russian-Israeli Alexandre Troufanov, and Argentinian-Israeli Iair Horn.

In response and keeping up with the provisions of the ceasefire deal, Israel released over 300 Palestinian prisoners, many of whom had been detained after being captured after the terror attack on October 7, 2023, which claimed the lives of 1,200 men, women, and children.

While President Trump had demanded that all the hostages be released by noon today, his statement included a caveat that by saying that if Israel were to accept a return to the ceasefire deal, the United States would support that decision.

Despite Saturday’s release of the three, uncertainty looms over the future of the broader agreement. Negotiations on extending the ceasefire, which expires on March 1, 2025, are in doubt.
