Police Searching For Suspect In Sunday Night Southeast, D.C. Shooting Death

WASHINGTON, DC.- A 37-year-old Southeast, D.C. man became the third person to be shot killed yesterday after he was gunned down inside a Southeast, D.C. apartment late Sunday night in Southeast, D.C.

     According to D.C. Metropolitan Police Chief Pamela A. Smith, on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at approximately 10:00 p.m., members of the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department’s Seventh District responded to a report of a shooting at an apartment located on the 2900 Block of Knox Place in Southeast, D.C.

Police Find Man Shot Dead In An Apartment

     Upon arrival, Police Officers and First Responders found a man, later identified as William Williams, 37, of Southeast, D.C., unresponsive from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite life-saving efforts, Mr. Williams succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased by DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services.
