Thursday, February 27, 2025, 2:50 P.M. ET. 1 Minute Read, By Art Fletcher: Englebrook Independent News,

FLEMINGTON, NJ.- On Monday, February 24, 2025, Daniel E. White, 54, of Flemington, New Jersey, appeared in Hunterdon Superior Court and pleaded guilty before Superior Court Judge Christopher J. Garrenger to one count of second-degree Attempted Sexual Assualt for Distribution of Child Pornography; and one count of third-degree Possession of Child Pornography.

In return for the guilty plea, the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office will be recommending that White be sentenced to 10 years in New Jersey State Prison, to be followed by a lifetime of parole supervision, and will be required to register as a sex offender under Megan’s Law registration requirements. Prior to sentencing, White will be required to submit to an Avenel Diagnostic Evaluation.

After entering his guilty plea on Monday, Judge Garrenger accepted the plea and scheduled White’s sentence for June 6, 2025.

Investigation Uncovers Child Pornography

The guilty plea stems from an investigation that began on February 20, 2024, when members of the Flemington Police Department responded to a report at White’s Flemington, New Jersey, residence after receiving information that he was utilizing the internet to view, download, distribute, and possess digital images and video files depicting the sexual exploitation and sexual abuse of children.

During the ensuing investigation, White admitted to Detectives of the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office and the Flemington Police Department that he possessed multiple child sexual abuse images and video files.
