Teen Killed In Early Sunday Morning Car Crash In Clifton

CLIFTON, NJ.- Police are continuing the investigation into an early Sunday morning Clifton, New Jersey, car crash that tragically claimed the life of a 17-year-old passenger.
According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camela M. Valdes, on Sunday, March 2, 2025, shortly around 12:30 a.m., members of the Clifton Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting a two-vehicle crash near the intersection of Lakeview and Crooks Avenues in the City of Clifton.
Teen Tragically Killed
   Upon arrival, Police Officers learned that a 2008 Honda Accord with four occupants had collided with a 2011 Mazda CX-9 with one occupant, the driver. A 17-year-old passenger in the Honda Accord sustained fatal injuries in the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Passaic County authorities reported no other injuries.
The cause of the collision remains undetermined as of Sunday night and is currently being investigated by the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office Fatal Investigations Unit and the Clifton Police Department.
