Police Asking For Public’s Assistance In Tuesday Night Stabbing Death

NEPTUNE CITY, NJ.- The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office and the Neptune City Police Department are asking anyone with information regarding the tragic stabbing death of a 24-year-old Neptune Township, New Jersey, man that occurred late Tuesday night in a residential neighborhood in Neptune City, New Jersey.

     According to Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago, on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, shortly after 11:30 p.m., members of the Neptune Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting a stabbing outside of a residence located on the 200 Block of West Sylvania Avenue in the City.

     Upon arrival, Police Officers found a man, later identified as Kaylib Paul, 24, of Neptune Township, suffering from multiple stab wounds. Mr Paul was immediately transported to a local hospital, where, despite life-saving efforts by doctors, Mr. Paul tragically succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.

     The investigation remains active and ongoing as Detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the events that led up to the fatal stabbing of Mr. Paul.
