Paterson Man Hospitalized After Being Struck By Gunfire Monday Night

PATERSON, NJ.- Detectives are continuing the investigation into a shooting that occurred late Monday night in the City of Paterson after a 29-year-old Paterson man arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center, seeking treatment for a gunshot wound.
According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, on Monday, March 17, 2025, at just around 10:00 p.m., members of the Paterson Police Department responded to Saint Joseph’s Univesity Medical Center following receiving a report from staff that a 29-year-old Paterson man had arrived at the Medical Center requesting treatment for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Police Locate Man At The Hospital
Upon arrival, Police Officers located the male victim, and during the initial investigation and following interviewing the victim, Police Officers determined that the man had been shot near the intersection of Rosa Parks Boulevard and Keen Street in the City of Paterson. Further investigation uncovered evidence of the shooting at that location.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made as Police continue their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
