MOUNT LAUREL, NJ.- Following an ongoing investigation, a 36-year-old Mount Laurel, New Jersey woman, and owner and operator of a Mount Laurel Home Daycare center, charged earlier this month with physically abusing an infant and toddler in her care, has been additionally charged with harming an additional four children.

According to Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw, Danielle Ingraham was additionally charged on Thursday, March 20, 2025, with four counts of second-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child; and four counts of fourth-degree Cruelty to a Child Under her Care.

Ingraham Surrenders To Authorities After Being Additionally Charged

Following being charged, Ingraham surrendered herself to Burlington County authorities on March 20, 2025. She was processed on the additional charges and released on a summons complaint pending future court proceedings in Burlington County Superior Court in Mount Holly, New Jersey. The Prosecutor’s Office will prepare the case to be presented to a Burlington County Grand Jury.

The additional charges accuse Ingraham of causing injuries to a five-month-old child’s head, eyes, and wrist that required the infant to be hospitalized. Shaking a seven-month-old child, injuring the cheek of a ten-month-old child, and causing visible injuries to the face and back of a 15-month-old child. Following the filing of the additional charges, Ingraham is accused of abusing a total of six children in her care.

The investigation began when Detectives of the Mount Laurel Police Department and the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office learned that an infant had been taken to a pediatrician for treatment for a bruised eye after being picked up at Ingtaham’s home. Ingraham was accused of slapping the infant as well as a toddler she was caring for in her home. She was initially charged at that time with two counts of second-degree Endangering the Welfare of the Child; and two counts of fourth-degree Cruelty to a Child Under her Care.

If convicted at trial, due to the nature of the offenses and the number of victims, Ingraham faces between 30 years and up to 60 years in New Jersey State Prison.

“The rules of the court require us to include a statement that states: The charges outlined in this publication are merely accusations, and the defendant and or defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond reasonable doubt.”
