Mount Ephraim Man Charged With Possession Of Child Pornography

MOUNT EPHRAIM, NJ.- On Tuesday, March 25, 2025, following an investigation, a 44-year-old Mount Ephraim, New Jersey, man was taken into custody and jailed after being charged in connection with utilizing the internet to view, download, and possess digital images and video files depicting the sexual exploitation and sexual abuse of children.

     According to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay, Charles Campbell, IV, 44, of Mount Ephraim, was formally charged on Wednesday with one count of third-degree Possession of Child Pornography. Campbell was processed on the charge and was remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility, pending future court proceedings in Camden County Superior Court. The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office has filed a motion with the court to detain Campbell pending trial.

     The charge stems from an investigation that began when the Camden County Prosecutor’s High Tech Crimes Unit received a CyberTip from the Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding a Google account that was being utilized to possess and store child pornography.

Detectives identified Campbell As The Owner Of The Account

     During the ensuing investigation, Detectives from the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office tracked the IP address and identified Campbell as the owner of the Google account. Following his identification, Campbell surrendered to authorities at the Mount Ephraim Police Department, where he was placed under arrest.
