FREEHOLD, NJ.- On Tuesday, March 25, 2025, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago reported that a Grand Jury sitting in Monmouth County, New Jersey, returned a seven-count indictment charging a 44-year-old Jackson Township, New Jersey, woman and former Freehold Borough intermediate special education school teacher on multiple child sex crimes.

The indictment charges Allison Havemann-Niedrach, 44, of Jackson, New Jersey, with one count of first-degree Aggravated Sexual Assault; first-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child by Manufacturing of Child Pornography; two counts of second-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child; second-degree Official Misconduct; second-degree Sexual Assault; and third-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

Charging Information Unsealed In The Indictment

The indictment alleges that beginning in early 2024, Havemann-Niedrach, while employed as a special education teacher at a Freehold Borough Intermediate School, engaged in an inappropriate sexual relationship with an eighth-grade male student, including engaging in sexual intercourse with the student and allegedly used her cellular phone to create digital images of the alleged encounter.

Following an investigation by Detectives of the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Bureau and the Freehold Borough Police Department, Havemann-Niedrach was taken into custody in June 2024 and later released on house arrest home detention, pending future court proceedings in Monmouth County Superior Court.

The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office did not release a date on which Havemann-Niedrach will be arraigned on the charges alleged in the indictment.

“The rules of the court require us to include a statement that states: The charges outlined in this publication are merely accusations, and the defendant and or defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond reasonable doubt.”
