Police Are Seeking Public’s Help In Today’s Mount Laurel Shooting Death

MOUNT LAUREL, NJ.- Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw and Mount Laurel Township Police Chief Timothy Hudnall reported that Detectives are continuing the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting of a man that occurred early this morning in Mount Laurel, New Jersey.

     The investigation began on Sunday, March 30, 2025, when, at around 2:30 a.m., members of the Mount Laurel Police Department responded to a report of a man being discovered bleeding in the 1000 Block of Atrium Way in the Township. 

     Upon arrival, Police Officers located the man, who was immediately transported to Cooper University Hospital, where, despite life-saving efforts by medical staff, the man succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased shortly around 4:15 a.m.

The Initial Investigation Reveals The Victim Was Shot In Car

     During the preliminary investigation, Detectives determined that the man, whose identity is being withheld at this time, is believed to have been shot moments earlier while driving northbound on Route 73 in his 2014 Silver Mercedes-Benz E350 sedan.

     Burlington County authorities have reported that no arrests have been made as Detectives continue the search for a suspect or suspects and a motive for the shooting death. The determination of the Cause and Manner of Death are pending findings of the Burlington County Medical Examiner’s Office.

     Prosecutor Bradshaw and Chief Hudnall are asking for the public’s assistance with this investigation.
