BRIDGETON, NJ.- On Monday, a 34-year-old Bridgeton, New Jersey, man learned he would be spending the next fourteen years in New Jersey State Prison after being sentenced in connection with robbing delivery drivers out of food and cash.
According to Cumberland Couty Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae, on Monday, March 31, 2025, Tyreen Walker, 34, of Bridgeton, appeared in Cumberland County Superior Court and was sentenced by Superior Court Judge Niki Arbitter to an aggregate term of 14 years in New Jersey State Prison for his previously entered guilty pleas to two counts of second-degree Robbery.
In handing down the sentence on Monday, Judge Arbittier ordered the sentence to be subject to the No Early Release Act, which will require Walker to serve 85% of his custodial term before becoming eligible for parole. In addition, Walker will be required to serve an additional three-year term of parole supervision.
The guilty plea and sentence stem from incidents that resulted in Walker’s November 22, 2019 arrest. At that time, Walker was taken into custody and charged with committing robberies involving Domino’s Pizza and Pizza Hut delivery drivers. Walker contacted Domino’s Pizza and Pizza Hut, placing an order for pizza delivery. When the order arrived at the requested location, Walker robbed the drivers by taking the order and any money the drivers had.
