Trenton Man Guilty Of Repeatedly Sexually Assaulting A Teen

TRENTON, NJ.- Late last week, a 67-year-old Trenton, New Jersey, man learned he would die in New Jersey State Prison after a Mercer County jury found him guilty of repeatedly sexually assaulting a teenager.
On Thursday, April 3, 2025, following a two-week trial in Mercer County Superior Court before Superior Court Judge Amber J. Gibbs, the jury convicted Pedro Juan-Cintron, 67, of Trenton, New Jersey, on all counts unsealed in the indictment, including two counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault; and seven counts of Sexual Assault.
During the trial, Mercer County Assistant Prosecutor Timothy Ward presented evidence that Juan-Cintron conducted a continuing course of sexual abuse upon the victim.
Judge Schedules Sentencing For July 11, 2025
Upon the jury returning their findings of guilt, Judge Gibbs accepted the jury’s verdict and scheduled sentencing for July 11, 2025. At that time, Juan-Cintron will face up to 50 years in New Jersey State Prison, subject to the No Early Release Act, requiring him to serve 85% of his custodial term before becoming eligible for parole. Juan-Cintron will be required to register as a sex offender and be subject to parole supervision for life.
