Tuesday, April 8, 2025, 6:00 P.M. ET. 2 Minute Read, By Art Fletcher: Englebrook Independent News,

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ.- On Friday, April 4, 2025, a 26-year-old Runnemede, New Jersey, woman was taken into custody and jailed after being charged in connection with a murder-for-hire plot to kill her 53-year-old ex-boyfriend, employed as a Police Officer with the Philadelphia Police Department, and his 19-year-old daughter.

According to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAuly, Jaclyn Diiorio, 26, of Runnemede, was formally charged on Friday with two counts of first-degree Attempted Murder; one count of first-degree Conspiracy to Commit Murder; and one count of third-degree Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance.

Diiorio was processed on the charges and was remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility pending a detention hearing, which has been scheduled for Wednesday, April 9, 2025, in Camden County Superior Court in Camden, New Jersey.

The charges stem from an investigation that began on April 3, 2025, when the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit was informed of a murder-for-hire plot. Detectives learned Diiorio had gotten in touch with and then communicated with a confidential informant, inquiring that she wanted to have her ex-boyfriend, a Philadelphia Police Officer, and his 19-year-old daughter killed. Diiorio offered to pay the informant $12,000 to murder both her ex and his daughter. The two then arranged to meet the next day.

Diiorio Was Arrested After Giving Down Payment For The Killings

On Friday, April 4, 2025, Diiorio met with the informant at the 1300 Block of North Black Horse Pike in Gloucester Township, where she gave the informant $500.00 in cash. After she gave the informant the cash, she was immediately taken into custody by members of the Gloucester Township Police Department’s Special Response Team. During the arrest, Diiorio was found to be in possession of a bottle of suspected alprazolam pills.

Anyone with information regarding this investigation is urged to contact Detective Ryan Durham of the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit at (856) 225-5127. Tips can also be sent to CAMDEN.TIPS.
