Pennsauken Man Charged With Possessing Child Pornography

PENNSAUKEN, NJ.- Following an investigation, a 20-year-old Pennsauken, New Jersey, man is facing up to 5 years in New Jersey State Prison after he was charged on Tuesday with possessing digital images and video files depicting the sexual exploitation and the sexual abuse of children.
According to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay, the investigation began when the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office received a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding an individual in the Camden County, New Jersey, area who had been utilizing a social media instant messaging application Snapchat to upload child pornography from the internet.
Detectives Identify Martinez As The Owner Of The Snapchat Account
   During the investigation, Detectives of the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crimes Unit identified Nathaniel Martinez, 20, of Pennsauken, New Jersey, as the owner of the Snapchat account.Â
On Tuesday, April 8, 2025, Martinez was taken into custody and jailed after being charged with one count of Possession of Child Pornography. During a subsequent court-authorized search of Martinez’s cellular phone, Detectives uncovered an additional instant messaging application, Telegram, that was being utilized to view, download, and possess digital images and video files of child pornography.
After being processed on the charge, Martinez was remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility pending future court proceedings in Camden County Superior Court in Camden, New Jersey.
