Thursday, April 17, 2025, 7:00 A.M. ET. 2 Minute Read, By Art Fletcher: Englebrook Independent News,

TUCKERTON, NJ.- Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer reported that on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, Reuben Tallman, 62, of Tuckerton, New Jersey was taken into custody and jailed after being charged with two counts of Distribution of Child Pornography; and one count of Possession of Child Pornography.

The charges stem from an investigation that began when Detectives from the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office received a referral from the New Jersey State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. The New Jersey State Police had received a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that an individual in the Ocean County, New Jersey, area was utilizing an online application to upload digital images of child pornography from the internet.

Detectives Identify Tallman As The Individual

During an ensuing investigation, Detectives of the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crime Unit were able to identify an IP address associated with a Tuckerton Borough residence that was utilizing the internet to access digital images depicting the sexual exploitation and sexual abuse of children. Detectives further identified Tallman as the individual accessing the internet.

On April 10, 2025, federal, state, and local law enforcement investigators executed a court-authorized search warrant at Tallman’s Tuckerton Borough residence. During the search, investigators were informed by an occupant of the residence that Tallman was at his workplace in Deal, New Jersey.

On the same day, investigators obtained and executed a court-authorized search warrant for a search of Tallman’s electronic devises and his place of employment. As a result of the search, investigators seized Tallman’s cellular phone. A subsequent forensic examination of the phone uncovered that Tallman had utilized an online application from his phone to send and distribute digital images of child pornography to other users.

On Wednesday, April 16, 2025, Tallman surrendered himself to Detectives at the Tuckerton Borough Police Department and was served with the charges via a complaint warrant. Tallman was processed on the charges and was remanded to the Ocean County Jail, pending future court proceedings in Ocean County Superior Court in Toms River, New Jersey.
