Shots Fired Investigation Underway In The City Of Passaic

PASSAIC, NJ.- Passaic County law enforcement investigators are continuing the search for the gunman who opened fire early Saturday morning in the City of Passaic, New Jersey.
According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, on Saturday, April 19, 2025, just shortly before 1:00 a.m., members of the Passaic Police Department responded to reports of gunfire in the area of Paulison Avenue and Meade Avenue in the City of Passaic.
Upon arrival, Responding Police Officers located evidence of a shooting crime scene, but were unable to locate any victims. Police Officers and Detectives subsequently contacted St. Mary’s Hospital and neighboring Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey, and determined that no one was injured in the shooting.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made as Detectives continue the investigation intro the circumstances which led up to the shooting.
