Police Searching For Suspect In Early Tuesday Morning Northwest Stabbing

WASHINGTON, DC.- The D.C. Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in connection with the early Tuesday morning stabbing of a man in Northwest, D.C.
According to D.C. Metropolitan Police Chief Pamela A. Smith, on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, just shortly after 4:00 a.m., members of the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department’s First District responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting a stabbing on the 500 Block of North Capitol Street in Northwest, D.C.
Upon arrival, Police Officers located a man, suffering from a non-life-threatening stab wound. The man was immediately transported by DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services to an area hospital for treatment of his injury.
Police Recover Surveillance Video Footage Of Suspect
During the initial investigation, Responding Police Officers were able to recover video surveillance footage capturing the suspect who stabbed the man, which can be seen in the above photo.
