According to U.S. Attorney Alina Habba, during his plea allocution on Wednesday, Hamilton admitted to meeting a minor and engaging in illicit sexual conduct with the child and recording the sexual conduct. During an October 2023 court-authorized search of Hamiltion’s home, law enforcement investigators located and seized a copy of the video recording.

At that time, Hamilton faces a mandatory minimum of 15 years and up to 30 years in federal prison, at least five years and up to life of supervised release, and a $250,000 fine.
