Pennsylvania Man, Charged With Sexually Assaulting Pine Hill Child Taken Into Custody.

PINE HILL, NJ.- Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay reported a fugitive charged with sexually assaulting a preteen girl in Pine Hill, New Jersey, was apprehended Friday morning in Southeastern Pennsylvania.
According to a statement from the Prosecutor’s Office, Shane Hennesy, 22, of Newton Square, Pennsylvania, was taken into custody on Friday, April 25, 2025, at around 6:00 a.m. The arrest was made by members of the U.S. Marshals Service New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force-Camden Division and the U.S. Marshals Service Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force-Reading Division.
Charges File After Investigation
Following an investigation of child sexual assault, Hennesy was charged on February 20, 2025, with first-degree Aggravated Sexual Assault; second-degree Sexual Assault; and two counts of third-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child, for crimes he had allegedly committed against a 12-year-old girl in Pine Hill, New Jersey between December 2024 and January 2025, after the two met on an online social media platform.
Hennsey will remain lodged in the Berks County Jail in Leesport, Pennsylvania, pending extradition to Camden County, New Jersey, to stand trial on the charges.
