Thursday, May 1, 2025, 6:30 A.M. ET. 3 Minute Read, By Art Fletcher: Englebrook Independent News,

TOMS RIVER, NJ.- On Tuesday, following an investigation, a 23-year-old Toms River, New Jersey, man and a 20-year-old Berkeley Township, New Jersey, woman were taken into custody and jailed after being charged in connection with allegedly manufacturing, distributing, and possessing digital images and video files depicting the sexual exploitation and sexual abuse of children.

According to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer, on Tuesday, Logan Oliveira, 23, of Toms River, New Jersey, was formally charged with Distribution of Child Pornography; Possession of Child Pornography; and Conspiracy to Manufacture Child Pornography.

Additionally, on Tuesday, Julianna Goldstein, 20, of Berkeley Township, New Jersey, was formally charged with Distribution of Child Pornography; Possession of Child Pornography; Manufacturing Child Pornography; Conspiracy to Manufacture Child Pornography; and Criminal Sexual Contact.

After Being Charged Oliveira And Goldstein Jailed

Both Oliveira and Goldstein were processed on the charges and were remanded to the Ocean County Jail, pending future court proceedings in Ocean County Superior Court in Toms River, New Jersey. The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office has filed a motion with the court to detain Oliveira and Goldstein pending trial.

The charges stem from an investigation that began when the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office received a referral from the New Jersey State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force after the Task Force received a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that an individual in the Ocean County area was uploading and distributing digital images of child pornography to the internet across multiple internet platforms.

An ensuing investigation by Detectives of the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crime Squad identified a cell phone number associated with a Toms River residence as the location from which an individual was uploading and distributing images of child pornography. Detectives later identified Oliveira as the individual.

Detectives Learn That Goldstein Inappropriately Touched A Child

During the investigation, Detectives further uncovered that Oliveira often communicated and sent messages to another cell phone number that belonged to Goldstein. A subsequent review of the messages between Oliveira and Goldstein discovered that Goldstein was sending nude digital images of children to Oliveira. It was also discovered that Oliveira instructed Goldstein to touch a child in an inappropriate manner and send photos of the touching to him.

On Tuesday, April 29, 2025, local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies executed court-authorized search warrants at both Oliveira’s Toms River residence and Goldstein’s residence in Berkeley Township. During an initial examination of their cellular phones, Detectives found multiple images of child pornography on both their phones. During the execution of the search warrants, Oliveira and Goldstein were taken into custody without incident and charged.
