Police Seeking Public’s Help In Locating Suspects Wanted For Assault

WASHINGTON, DC.- The Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating suspects wanted in connection with an assault that occurred last Friday night in Northeast, D.C.
According to D.C. Metropolitan Police Chief Pamela A. Smith, members of the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department’s North East District responded to a report of an assault on the 4900 Block of Central Avenue in Northeast, D.C.
Police Officers Find Victim With Laceration
Upon arrival, Police Officers learned that the suspects and the victim were involved in an argument on Central Avenue when the argument quickly escalated, resulting in the suspects brandishing handguns and beating the victim. The suspects then fled the scene. The victim sustained a laceration during the assault and was treated at the scene.
During the initial investigation, Detectives recovered surveillance video that captured a picture of the suspects, which can be seen in the photos above.
