Schenectady Man Sentenced To Federal Prison For Federal Drug Crime

ALBANY, NY.- On Thursday, a 28-year-old Schenectady, New York, man learned he would be spending a little over 15 years in federal prison after being sentenced for distributing methamphetamine in the Northern District of New York.
According to U.S. Attorney John A. Sarcone, III, on Thursday, May 8, 2025, Patrick Tucker, 28, of Schenectady, New York, appeared in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York and was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Anne M. Nardacci to 188 months in federal prison, to be followed by four years of supervised release after pleading guilty to Distribution of a Controlled Substance, Methamphetamine.
Tucker Admits To Distributing Meth
During Tucker’s plea allocution, he admitted to distributing methamphetamine on three separate occasions between January and March of 2023 in the Schenectady, New York, area. While on pretrial release, Tucker absconded from supervision and led Police Officers on a high-speed chase that was ultimately called off due to safety concerns.
Tucker was later apprehended by Deputies of the United States Marshals Service and was found to be in possession of additional quantities of illicit narcotics.
