Monongalia Woman Sentenced For Federal Drug Charges

CLARKSBURG, W.VA.- A 34-year-old Monongalia County, West Virginia, woman with a lengthy criminal past will be spending the next twelve-and-a-half years in federal prison after being sentenced for federal narcotics offenses.
On Friday, May 9, 2025, Stephanie Ann Allen, 34, of Morgantown, West Virginia, appeared in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia and was sentenced by Chief U.S. District Court Judge Thomas S. Kleeh to 151 months in federal prison, to be followed by three years of supervised release for her previously entered guilty plea to federal narcotics violations.
Allen previously appeared in Federal Court in Clarksburg, West Virginia, and pleaded guilty to one count of Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine; and Possession with Intent to Distribute Fentanyl.
According To The U.S. Attorney’s Office
According to Assistant U.S. Attorney Zelda Wesley and charging documents filed with the District Court, during an ongoing narcotics investigation, law enforcement officers observed Allen engaging in suspicious activity while in a parking lot in Morgantown, West Virginia. During a subsequent search of Allen’s motor vehicle, officers uncovered and seized 73 grams of methamphetamine and 7 grams of fentanyl.
Allen has a lengthy criminal history that includes felony convictions for burglary, robbery, and narcotics possession.
