Man Fatally Gunned Down Sunday Night In The City Of Paterson

PATERSON, NJ.- A 42-year-old Paterson, New Jersey, man became the latest victim to fall prey to the never-ending violence that is continuing to plague New Jersey streets after he was fatally gunned down early Sunday evening in the City of Paterson.
According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, on Sunday, May 11, 2025, just minutes after 6:30 p.m., members of the Paterson Police Department responded to reports of gunfire on Rosa Parks Boulevard near the intersection of Lafayette Street in the City of Paterson.
Police Find Man Shot On Street
Upon arrival, Police Officers discovered a 42-year-old Paterson, New Jersey, man unresponsive, having sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound. The man was immediately transported by Paterson Fire and Emergency Medical Services to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center, where, despite life-saving measures, the man succumbed to his injury and was pronounced deceased a short time later.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made as Detectives continue the search for the gunman and a motive for the shooting.
