Two Bunker Hill Men Sentenced For Roles In Eastern Panhandle Drug Trafficking

MARTINSBURG, W.VA.- On Wednesday, two Bunker Hill, West Virginia, men were sentenced to federal prison for their roles in an Eastern Panhandle drug trafficking organization that was responsible for distributing large amounts of crystal methamphetamine, cocaine, fentanyl, and heroin in Berkeley, Morgan, and Hampshire Counties, in the Northern District of West Virginia.

     On Wednesday, May 7, 2025, Andrew Ross Hose, 40, and Bradley Allen Lopp, 36, both of Bunker Hill, West Virginia, appeared in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia and were sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Gina M. Groh to terms in federal prison.

Judge Groh Sentence Both Men To Federal Prison

     Judge Groh sentenced Hose to 293 months in federal prison, to be followed by five years of supervised release after pleading guilty to Distribution of Controlled Substances. Additionally, Judge Groh sentenced Lopp to 24 months in federal prison, to be followed by three years of supervised release after pleading guilty to Distribution of Controlled Substances.

     According to Acting U.S. Attorney Randolph J. Bernard and charging documents filed with the District Court during an ongoing investigation into illicit narcotics distribution in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. Hose and Lopp were identified as participants in a large-scale drug trafficking organization that distributed large quantities of illicit controlled substances through the Northern District of West Virginia.

     Acting U.S. Attorney Bernard commended the Potomac Highlands Drug Task Force’s investigative work, which led to the successful prosecution of Hose and Lopp.
