Wednesday, May 14, 2025, 7:45 A.M. ET. 2 Minute Read, By Art Fletcher: Englebrook Independent News,

EAST WINDSOR, NJ.- Last Thursday, a 32-year-old Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, man was taken into custody and charged in connection with coercing and enticing an East Windsor, New Jersey, preteen to take sexually explicit photographs of herself and send them to him.

According to Mercer County Prosecutor Janetta D. Marbrey, Steven Green, 32, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was formally charged with first-degree Manufacturing Child Pornography; and two counts of third-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Green is currently being detained in Pennsylvania pending extradition to New Jersey. The Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office intends to file a motion with the court to detain Green pending trial.

Investigation Uncovers Child Pornography

The charges stem from an investigation that began when Detectives of the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Unit and the East Windsor Police Department received information that an East Windsor, New Jersey, young girl had been engaging in sexually explicit online chats and exchanging sexually explicit digital images and video files with an individual identified as Steven Green, 32, of Philadelphia.

During a subsequent investigation, Detectives also uncovered in addition to exchanging sexually explicit messages and digital images with the preteen girl, Green was directing the child to take photos and record videos of herself engaging in sexually explicit conduct and then send them to him.

On Thursday, May 8, 2025, Investigators of the Philadelphia Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Unit executed a court-authorized search warrant at Green’s residence located on Berks Street in the City of Philadelphia. During the search, Investigators located and seized electronic devices and other items of evidentiary value. At that time, Green was taken into custody without incident.

If convicted at trial, Green faces a maximum of 20 years in New Jersey State Prison, up to $200,000 in fines, and will be subject to parole supervision for life. Green would also be required to register as a sex offender under Megan’s Law restraints.
