ALBANY, NY.- A 31-year-old Albany, New York, convicted child predator will be spending the next 15 years in federal prison after pleading guilty and being sentenced on Wednesday to multiple counts of federal child pornography offenses.

On Wednesday, May 14, 2025, Stephen Brisee, also known as Sage Brisee, 31, of Albany, New York, appeared in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York and was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Mae A. D’Agostino to 180 months after pleading guilty to a six-count federal indictment charging Distribution, Receiving, and Possession of Child Pornography.

In handing down the sentence on Wednesday, Judge D’Agostino, in addition to the term of imprisonment, ordered Brisee to serve 20 years of supervised release and pay $3,000 in restitution. Brisee will be required to continue to be registered as a sex offender in the national database.

According To This U.S. Attorney’s Office

According to U.S. Attorney John A. Sarcone, III and statements made during Wednesday’s plea allocution, Brisee admitted to receiving and distributing video files depicting the sexual exploitation and sexual abuse of children, including some of adults subjecting girls between the ages of 6 months and 10 years old to sexual penetration.

During a search of Brisee’s cellular phone, investigators uncovered numerous digital images depicting the sexual exploitation and sexual abuse of children. At the time of the instant offense, Brisee was a registered sex offender on post-release supervision following a New York State conviction for promoting the sexual performance of a child. Brisee had been released from state prison only months prior to committing this instant offense.

U.S. Attorney Sarcone stated, “This conduct was especially egregious because the defendant was released from prison for another child pornography offense less than six months before. With our law enforcement partners, my office will continue to take all available actions to hold sex offenders accountable to the fullest extent of the law when they commit new crimes.”
