Man Dies After Being Shot In His Car Saturday Night In Cumberland County

MILLVILLE, NJ.- Cumberland County law enforcement is continuing the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting of a man who was found shot inside his vehicle after crashing his vehicle on Saturday night in the City of Millville, New Jersey.
According to Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae, on Saturday, May 17, 2025, during the evening hours, members of the Millville Police Department responded to reports of a motor vehicle crash on the 900 Block of Church Street in the City of Millville.
Police Officers Find Man Shot Inside His Car
Upon arrival, Police Officers learned that an unidentified man had been struck by gunfire while driving and subsequently crashed his vehicle. The man was immediately transported to Vineland Inspira Hospital, where, despite life-saving efforts, the man was pronounced deceased shortly after 10:00 p.m., Saturday.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made as Detectives continue the search for the gunman and a motive for the shooting.
