Teen Fatally Gunned Down Tuesday Night In Southeast D.C.

WASHINGTON, DC.- A 16-year-old Southeast, D.C. boy became the latest victim to fall prey to gun violence plaguing Washington, D.C., after he was fatally gunned down Tuesday night in Southeast, D.C.
According to D.C. Metropolitan Police Chief Pamela A. Smith, on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, shortly after 9:30 p.m., members of the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department’s First District responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting a shooting on the 1000 Block of 3rd Place in Southeast, D.C.
Police Officers Find Teenage Boy Shot Dead
Upon arrival, Police Officers discovered a teen boy, later identified as Dominique Dingle, 16, of Southeast, D.C., having succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and pronounced the teen deceased at the scene.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made as Detectives continue the investigation into the circumstances which led up to the shooting.
