WOODBINE, NJ.- On Monday, May 19, 2025, following an investigation into internet child pornography activities, a 25-year-old Woodbine, New Jersey, man was taken into custody and jailed after being charged with a pornography offense.

The investigation stems from an investigation that began when the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force received a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding an individual in the Cape May County, New Jersey area who had been utilizing the internet to view, download, possess, and distribute digital images and video files depicting the sexual exploitation and abuse of children.

During the investigation, Detectives were able to track an IP address associated with a residence located in the Woodbine section of Dennis Township, New Jersey. During further investigation, Detectives identified Brandon M. Nicolosi, 25, as the registered owner of the IP address.

Search Warrant Uncovers Child Pornography

On May 15, 2025, local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies obtained and executed a court-authorized search warrant at Nicolosi’s Woodbine, New Jersey residence. During the search, Detectives and Investigators seized multiple electronic devices, including numerous cellular phones and a laptop computer. A subsequent forensic examination of the devices uncovered numerous digital images and video files depicting the sexual exploitation and abuse of prepubescent and pubescent children.

Accordingly, on Monday, May 19, 2025, Nicolosi was taken into custody and formally charged with one count of third-degree Possession of Child Pornography. He was processed on the charge and was remanded to the Cape May County Correctional Facility, pending future court proceedings in Cape May County Superior Court.
