Bradford County Child Predator Sentenced For Child Pornography

SCRANTON, PA.- On Tuesday, May 20, 2025, Jay Holloway, 37, of Bradford County, Pennsylvania, appeared in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania and was sentenced by Chief U.S. District Court Judge Matthew W. Brann to 168 months in federal prison for his conviction of Distribution of Child Pornography.
According to Acting U.S. Attorney John C. Gurganus and charging documents filed with the District Court, on May 17, 2023, during an investigation into internet child pornography activities, members of the Pennsylvania State Police and the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General executed a court-authorized search warrant at Holloway’s Bradford County, Pennsylvania home.
Investigators Uncover Child Pornography
During the search, Detectives and Investigators seized multiple electronic devices, including cellular phones and computers. Investigators conducted a forensic examination of the devices and uncovered around 3,369 digital images and 965 video files depicting the sexual exploitation and abuse of prepubescent and pubescent children.
Further forensic examination uncovered that Holloway distributed child pornography to others over Telegram, a cloud-based encrypted online messaging application.
