Teen Fatally Gunned Down Thursday Afternoon In Northwest D.C.

WASHINGTON, DC.- Detectives of The D.C. Metropolitan Police Department are continuing the investigation of the shooting death of a 17-year-old boy, who was fatally gunned down Thursday afternoon near Howard University in Northwest, D.C.
According to D.C. Metropolitan Police Chief Pamela A. Smith, on Thursday, March 29, 2025, just shortly after 3:00 p.m., members of D.C. Metropolitan Police Department’s Third District responded to sounds of gunfire on the 900 Block of Florida Avenue in Northwest, D.C.
Police Find Teen Shot Dead On Street
Upon arrival, Police Officers found a teenage boy, later identified as Angel Ernesto Dominquez, 17, of Northwest, D.C., unresponsive, lying on the ground, having succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds. Mr. Dominquez was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene by DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made as Police continue the search for the gunman and a motive for the shooting death of Mr. Dominquez.
