Three Dead, Including A Child In An Early Morning Domestic Shooting

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, NJ.- Detectives of the Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Hamilton Township Police Department are continuing the investigation into an apparent domestic violence murder-suicide that occurred early Thursday morning in Hamilton Township, New Jersey.
According to Mercer County Prosecutor Janetta D. Marbrey, on Thursday, June 5, 2025, just shortly before 4:00 a.m., members of the Hamilton Township Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call from a residence on the 200 Block of Henry Street in the Township.
Police Officers Find Three Dead Inside Home
Upon arrival, Police Officers made entry into the home and discovered the bodies of a man, a woman, and a 10-year-old, all having succumbed to gunshot wounds. All three were subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene.
During the initial investigation, Responding Police Officers and Detectives determined that the man fatally shot his girlfriend and her 10-year-old daughter before turning the gun on himself and taking his life.
The investigation remains ongoing. The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Hamilton Township Police Department are continuing the circumstances surrounding the shootings.
