Howell Township Man Found Dead Inside Car Thursday Morning

HOWELL TOWNSHIP, NJ.- Police are continuing the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the Thursday morning shooting death of a 36-year-old Howell Township, New Jersey, man who was found dead inside his car.
According to Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago, on Thursday, June 5, 2025, just shortly after 6:30 a.m., members of the Howell Township Police Department responded to a report of an unresponsive man inside a motor vehicle on White Street in the Township.
Police Find Man Shot Dead In Car
Upon arrival, Police Officers found a man, later identified as Rolando Acte-Mejia, 36, of Howell Township, New Jersey, shot dead inside a vehicle parked in the driveway of a White Street residence.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been reported at this time.
