Woman Charged In Early Sunday Morning Domestic Stabbing Death

WASHINGTON, DC.- On Sunday, June 8, 2025, a 25-year-old Northwest, D.C., woman was taken into custody and jailed after being charged in connection with the stabbing death of a 27-year-old man during an apparent domestic dispute that occurred early Sunday morning in Northwest, D.C.

     According to D.C. Metropolitan Police Chief Pamela A. Smith, on Sunday, June 8, 2025, just shortly around 12:30 a.m., members of the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department’s Fourth District responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting a stabbing inside a residence located on the 4100 Block of 7th Street in Northwest, D.C.

Police Find Man Fatally Stabbed Inside Residence

     Upon arrival, Police Officers found a man, later identified as Jonathan Fuentes-Ferrufino, 27, of Northwest, D.C., unresponsive, having succumbed from multiple stab wounds. Mr. Fuentes-Furrufino was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene.

     During the initial investigation, Responding Police Officers and Detectives determined that Mr. Fuentes-Furrufino was stabbed during a domestic dispute.

     As a result of the investigation, Leslie Flores, 25, of Northwest, D.C., was taken into custody and formally charged with one count of second-degree Murder While Armed. Flores was processed on the charge and was remanded to the D.C. Correctional Treatment Facility, pending future court proceedings in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.

“The rules of the court require us to include a statement that states: The charges outlined in this publication are merely accusations, and the defendant and or defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond reasonable doubt.”
