Hartford Man Pleads Guilty To Federal Narcotics Distribution Offenses

NEW HAVEN, CT.- A 32-year-old Hartford, Connecticut, man is facing up to 80 years in federal prison after pleading guilty today in Federal Court in New Haven, Connecticut, for distributing cocaine and fentanyl throughout the Middletown, Connecticut, area.
According to U.S. Attorney David X. Sullivan, on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, Jordan Flythe, also known as “T,” 32, of Hartford, Connecticut, appeared in the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut and pleaded guilty before U.S. District Court Judge Victor A. Bolden to Possession with Intent to Distribute 40 Grams or More of Fentanyl; and Possession with Intent to Distribute a Quantity of Cocaine.
Following entering his guilty plea today, Judge Bolden accepted the plea and deferred sentencing for a time and date to be determined by the court. When sentenced, Flythe faces a mandatory minimum of five years and up to 40 years in federal prison, at least three years of supervised release, and a $500,000 fine on each count.
At sentencing, a U.S. District Court Judge will determine the term of imprisonment based on the seriousness of the offenses and Flythe’s prior criminal history.
According To Documents Filed With The District Court
According to charging information filed with the District Court, on March 31, 2021, Flythe was previously sentenced in Federal Court in Hartford, Connecticut, to 36 months in federal prison for distributing fentanyl and crack cocaine. He was released from federal prison in September 2022.
In August 2024, during a narcotics investigation, Investigators with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration’s Hartford Task Force, in conjunction with the Middletown Police Department, determined that Flythe was distributing fentanyl and other illicit narcotics in Middletown, Connecticut. During the course of the investigation, between August and November 2024, Investigators made multiple controlled buys of fentanyl from Flythe.
Investigators Execute Search Warrant
Following conducting the controlled buys, on December 18, 2024, Investigators obtained and executed a court-authorized search warrant of Flythe’s Adelaide Street residence in Hartford. During the search, Investigators located and seized around 240 grams of fentanyl mixed with xylazine, also known as “Tranq,” and other additives, and around 160 grams of cocaine.
Flythe has remained in federal custody since his arrest on March 6, 2024.
