North Haledon Man Killed Wednesday Morning In Hawthorne Vehicle Crash

HAWTHORNE, NJ.- Passaic County law enforcement is continuing the investigation into a two-vehicle collision that occurred Wednesday morning in Hawthorne, New Jersey, tragically claiming the life of a 56-year-old North Haledon, New Jersey, man.
According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, just shortly after 11:30 a.m., members of the Hawthorne Police Department responded to 911 Emergency Calls reporting a serious two-vehicle crash near the intersection of Fairview Avenue and Coffle Hill Road in Hawthorne.
Upon arrival, Police Officers located a Nissan Sport Utility Vehicle that had been struck by a dump truck, killing the driver of the Nissan Sport Utility Vehicle, identified as a 56-year-old North Haledon, New Jersey, man. The man was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. No charges or summonses have been filed at this time.
