Detectives conducted a motor vehicle traffic stop on Shirley’s vehicle, and upon approaching the Camry, Sergeant Tom Paglione noticed an open compartment in the center console that he recognized as a trap compartment commonly used to conceal narcotics. Indy reacted positively to potential narcotics being contained in the vehicle, and in a subsequent court-authorized search of the vehicle, Detectives uncovered a kilogram of cocaine with an estimated street value of $100,000 hidden under the front seat of the Camry.
