Investigation Continues Into The Death Of An Infant In The City Of Perth Amboy

PERTH AMBOY, NJ.- Detectives of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office and the Perth Amboy Police Department are continuing the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a baby boy, who was unresponsive Friday morning at a residential daycare center in the City of Perth Amboy, New Jersey.
According to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone, on Friday, June 20, 2025, just shortly after 10:30 a.m., members of the Perth Amboy Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting an unresponsive baby at a home daycare on McKeon Street in the City of Perth Amboy.
Upon arrival, Police Officers found the infant boy unresponsive. The baby boy was immediately transported to an area hospital, where he was tragically pronounced deceased a short time later.
