Bergen County Man Charged With Child Endangerment & Sexual Assault

HACKENSACK, NJ.- On Tuesday, following an investigation, a 38-year-old Hackensack, New Jersey, man was taken into custody and jailed after being charged in connection with allegedly getting a child drunk and then sexually molesting the child on multiple occasions in Hackensack, New Jersey.

     According to Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella, on Saturday, June 28, 2025, the Hackensack Police Department contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit regarding the alleged sexual assault of a juvenile, and an investigation was launched.

Ingasicha Gave Alcohol To The Child

     During a week-long investigation, Detectives of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Hackensack Police Department determined that Alfredo F. Ingasicha, 38, of Hackensack, New Jersey, had endangered and sexually assaulted the child on multiple occasions between December 1, 2024, and February 3, 2025, in Hackensack, New Jersey. Detectives further determined that Ingasicha had also provided alcohol to the child.

     Accordingly, on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, Ingasicha was taken into custody in Hackensack, New Jersey, and formally charged with two counts of second-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child; and three counts of fourth-degree Sexual Assault by Contact.

     Ingasicha was processed on the charges and was remanded to the Bergen County Jail, pending future court proceedings in Bergen County Superior Court in Hackensack, New Jersey.

“The rules of the court require us to include a statement that states: The charges outlined in this publication are merely accusations, and the defendant and or defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond reasonable doubt.”
