Charges And Guilty Plea Stem From An Narcotics Investigation
The guilty plea to the charges stems from an investigation that was conducted by Detectives of the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office and the Atlantic City Police Department, which resulted in the execution of a court-authorized search warrant at a residence in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on November 7, 2025.
During the search, Detectives located and seized two stolen firearms, a large capacity ammunition magazine, ball, and hollow point ammunition, marijuana packaged for distribution, narcotics paraphernalia, and U.S. currency. One of the firearms seized from Gilliam-Winborn was a Glock 19 Gen 5 9mm that was equipped with an aftermarket device known as a “Switch,” which converted the handgun into a fully automatic machine pistol.Â
