Man Fatally Gunned Down Monday Night Outside An Atlantic City Motel

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ.- Detectives of the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Atlantic City Police Department are continuing the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting of a 28-year-old Atlantic City, New Jersey, man who was found shot dead late Monday night outside the Martinique Motel in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

     According to Atlantic County Prosecutor William E. Reynolds, on Monday, July 28, 2025, at around 10:30 p.m., members of the Atlantic City Police Department responded to 911 Emergency Calls reporting a man lying on the sidewalk outside the Martinique Motel, located at 3029 Pacific Avenue in the City.

Upon Arrival, Police Officers Find Man Shot Dead

     Upon arrival, Police Officers located the man, later identified as Kendell Roseborough, 28, of Atlantic City, New Jersey, unresponsive, having succumbed to a gunshot wound. Mr. Roseborough was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene. The Cause and Manner af Mr. Roseborough’s death are pending the final determination of the regional Medical Examiner’s Office.

     The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made, as Detectives continue the search for the gunman and a motive for the shooting death of Mr. Roseborough.
