New York Motorcyclist Killed In Friday Afternoon Accident In Woodcliff Lake

WOODCLIFF LAKE, NJ.- On Monday, August 4, 2025, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office reported that no charges will be filed in connection with a fatal motor vehicle accident that occurred Friday afternoon, tragically claiming the life of a 24-year-old Middletown, New York, motorcyclist.
According to Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella, on Friday, August 1, 2025, just shortly before 5:00 p.m., members of the Woodcliff Lake Police Department responded to a report of a serious motor vehicle accident involving a motorcycle on Pascack Road near the intersection of West Hill Road in the Borough of Woodcliff Lake.
Upon Arrival, First Responders Find Motorcyclist Fatally Injured
Upon arrival, Police Officers and Emergency Medical Services, and Police Officers from surrounding communities, located the collision, in which a motorcycle had collided with a vehicle. Despite life-saving efforts, the motorcyclist, later identified as Frank J. Fea, 24, of Middletown, New York, succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene by Emergency Medical Services personnel.
The Woodcliff Lake Police Department notified the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Fatal Accident Investigation Unit and requested assistance with the investigation.
   During the ensuing investigation, Investigators of the Bergen County Fatal Accident Investigation Unit determined that a 2025 Honda motorcycle, operated by Mr. Fea, had collided with a 2015 Hyundai Kia. The impact of the collision caused Mr. Fea to be ejected from the motorcycle, resulting in his fatal injuries. The investigation further determined that the crash did not involve any suspected activity, and no criminal charges are expected to be filed as a result of the tragic accident.
